Privacy Policy

Overview

Banting Bunny is designed for privacy. We do not operate servers that store your personal data and we do not collect analytics, tracking information, or identifiers. Your data remains on your device and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit.

What We Store

• On your device (locally): app settings, daily allowance (kvar), portion values, and weights are stored using iOS/watchOS system storage (UserDefaults).
• In your iCloud (optional): if sync is enabled, the same data is stored in your personal iCloud container via CloudKit to keep your iPhone and Apple Watch in sync.

What We Don’t Collect

• No account registration with us
• No analytics or tracking (no SDKs, no pixels)
• No ads and no third‑party data sharing
• No servers that receive your data

Your Control

• Delete on device: uninstalling the app removes local data. You can also reset data from within the app (Fresh Start).
• Delete from iCloud: you can remove the app’s CloudKit data from your iCloud account at any time via iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud, or use the app’s Fresh Start option to clear the cloud record.
• Permissions: iCloud sync can be turned on/off in your device settings; the app handles both local‑only and synced use.

Security

When sync is enabled, data is transmitted and stored using Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure under your iCloud account. Access and security are governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and your device settings. We do not have access to your iCloud contents.

Children’s Privacy

Banting Bunny is a general‑audience app. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone. Because we don’t run our own servers, there is no personal data transmitted to us.
